Love Your Gut

Hey did you know that research is showing that apart from the fact the we make ourselves fat by overeating and largely the less nutrient dense foods. People who are overweight have less of the good microbes in their gut compared to slimmer people.

A large study of 5000 people showed that the more obese people had less good gut bacteria than the slimmer people and that the slimmer people ate more foods rich in fiber.

These microbes can be obtained from Kefir and by feeding your gut with fibre rich foods which feed the bacteria they then multiply.

So in order to maintain a healthy body and good fat ratio you need to eat for your gut.

Although more research is needed the initial findings are encouraging and in the meantime its it doesn’t hurt to make healthier choices.
