Fat Loss, What You Need To Know

It is about that time of the year again, the time where you and many others will aspire to “get into shape” and.  To you this could be fat loss, getting stronger, building lean muscle, or a combination.

You need to know what you want to achieve and when you want to achieve it (be realistic) for example:

Do you want to…

  • Fit into a new pair of jeans
  • get a six pack
  • eat more vegetables
  • run a half marathon
  • Feel fit

Focus in on what you want to achieve, and then what you have to do to achieve it.

1. You Must Think Of You

If you want to aim for fat loss, you need to be selfish. This means when your friends are trying to get you to go out drinking and for fast food, you might need to say no.

Questionable eating + plus poor sleep = Fast Fat Gain.    Fat Loss Has To Be Your Top Priority

2. Waiting for Fat Loss

This is where many people fail to reach their goals. They want to lose x-pounds, in a short a time as possible.  It is not unusual for a goal or plan to be unrealistic.  Unless you plan on starting an unhealthy extreme diet, you might only see a max of 2.5 pounds per week on the scales this is a healthy weight loss. With a focused exercise programme and nutrition this shouldn’t be an issue.

Healthy Fat Loss Takes Time, Be Patient!

Realistically ditch the scales and focus on the inches and looking and feeling toned, tight and terrific.  Take some pictures during your journey, its true a picture really does tells a thousand words.

3. Stay Focused On Your Goal

If you want fat loss,  you need to use more calories than you consume.

To do this you need to exercise, eat lean proteins and vegetables, reduce your intake of refined carbohydrates, etc…

So, make sure the goal remains focused.  Exercise with a professional personal trainer like Ideal Fitness in Telford and get good quality sleep
