Just 12 months after fulfilling a dream and moving his business to a training studio Telford personal trainer Stuart Henderson is ready to take the next big step and move to an even bigger studio.

Stuart launched Ideal Fitness in 2009 after recovering from a serious car accident in which he broke his back, leaving him unable to walk for two years.

Over the last six years the business has gone from strength to strength with him achieving his first major milestone just 12 months ago when he opened a new training and therapy studio at the Business Development Centre on Stafford Park.

At the same time he joined forces with Paul Fernley, a qualified, registered nurse and occupational health specialist to offer services such as sports rehabilitation, massage, first aid training and corporate wellbeing courses.

But, the business is continuing to grow and following a record year assisting people with their personal training and fitness goals, Stuart is now preparing to move into an even bigger studio.

Still based at the Business Development Centre the new facility will enable Ideal Fitness to take on more new clients and expand services further.

The move, which will take place next month, will coincide with Stuart expanding his team to include two personal, a massage therapist and a nutritionist.

Stuart said: “I’ve been looking for a bigger studio for a little while but many vacant premises have either been in the wrong location, too small or too big.

“I’m delighted that a studio has now come available at the Business Development Centre which we can move into.

“We have become established here and have felt very at home in the heart of Telford so it’s great we will have that continuity for us and our clients.

“The bigger room will enable us to expand our services and take on new clients and we are really excited about moving forward with the business.

“It seems just yesterday that I was recovering from my car accident and dreams of running my own business were thrown into jeopardy.

“I’m so glad I didn’t give up and stayed focus. The business has gone from strength to strength and I’m fortunate to work with so many great clients. It should be a very exciting year.”
