  • Semi Private Training

Training with others is a great way to stay motivated and ensure a social environment for your workouts. Too many people in a group, however, can often mean your needs aren’t being catered for and your fitness goals not being reached. This is why semi private group training is a great choice.

Training with like-minded individuals creates a great atmosphere for progression, and knowing that you’ll still get the attention you need in a smaller group - and therefore achieve the results you’re looking for - is an almost perfect blend. Your trainer won’t be constantly distracted because of the size of the class, and it allows you to progress with success in a fantastic environment.

Semi private group training will give you a level of support you’ve not experienced before and, best of all, it comes from people who are just like you. An educated and knowledgeable trainer may be leading proceedings, but you’ll also have a network of friends that you can help and who will help you. What better way to burn fat, build muscle and reach the level of fitness you’ve always dreamed of?

  • 1 on 1

No matter what your goals are, 1-on-1 personal training is for you. Tailor-made to help you get the most of your fitness programme, 1-on-1 training is perfect for individuals who want dedicated and focused workouts to ensure they achieve their targets and transform their lives. Whether you’re looking to increase muscle tone, burn body fat, increase endurance, or just improve your quality of life, opting for a personal trainer will put you on the right track.

1-on-1 training is also ideal for people with busy lifestyles who struggle to find the time to hit the gym. Your personal trainer will work with you to plan a schedule around your commitments, keeping you motivated and excited for your next session. Building a relationship with your trainer will also keep you accountable. There’s always going to be the temptation to put your training off till tomorrow, but knowing you’re in a fitness partnership with someone is great way to stay on track and not fall off course.

You’ll get fitter, educated, feel great and empower yourself to levels you didn’t know were possible, all through 1-on-1 training. Make the change today.

  • Sports Therapy

Sports therapy is healthcare for everyone. Concerned with not only helping with the rehabilitation of injuries but also to prevent them altogether, it will both repair and prepare you for any kind of training or competition.

Unlike most forms of therapy, sports therapy is designed to utilities specific sport principles in order to optimise performance. This puts your body in a state of readiness, prepared for unexpected impacts while also preventing injury. On top of this, its techniques are essential for the immediate care of any afflictions you may suffer, getting you the right assessment and treatment. Your sports therapist can also recommend a specialist, ensuring that your rehabilitation is always progressing.

Sports therapy also offers remedial massages that can target pain at its source, getting to the route of the problem. This stops injuries from getting worse and reduces pain, leaving you in a better state for recovery.

Whether you’re looking to return to the gym, or need to take precautions so that you can stay there, sports therapy is for you. With the flexibility to fit around your needs, you’ll be pain and injury-free, ready to train to your heart’s content.

  • Corporate Wellness

Regardless where you work or what business you run, corporate wellness training is a must. Countless studies have already shown that this type of training does much more than simply improve employee health. It also has a drastic effect on morale and leads to increased productivity, ensuring that your company is more efficient than it ever has been.

A healthy workplace is undoubtedly a happier one, and allowing colleagues to workout together through their employer is a great way to keep them motivated, both at their desks and on the treadmill. Offering such a fitness programme to your staff has wider benefits too, such as helping them to stop smoking, stress reduction programs, and screenings for specific diseases or signs of stress. Eliminating these worries from your staff’s day-to-day lives is not only going to put them in better spirits, but it can also have business advantages, such as leading to a reduction in health care expenses.

A win-win all around, corporate wellness training is imperative for the modern day office to guarantee ultimate productivity, and a workforce that’s fit and healthy enough to tackle any challenge that comes their way.

I’m really pleased with what you have done, thank you so much!

I was recently asked by a sports injury client to take a look at her nutrition. I asked her to provide me with what she had eaten and drank for a week. I then analysed it and provided her with my findings plus alternative weekly and workout nutrition menus this is her response “Hi Stuart, thank you so much for my nutrition, only got chance to look properly last night, it’s brilliant, a lot more info than I expected. Tried the milk, banana and fruit before the gym and it worked, really felt more energised. I’m really pleased with what you have done, thank you so much, Amanda”

Thea

Thea

Finally the day arrived...
I have lost fat and inches and I am much more comfortable with my shape!

What made you decide you wanted/needed to start a program?

I started a new job in Autumn 2010 and began working really long hours including most evenings and at least one day at the weekend. I also have to stay away from home in hotels a lot, and within a year put on almost a stone in weight. When I had any free time I couldn’t find the motivation to go to the gym or even out for a jog and exercise fell right to the bottom of my list of priorities. Eventually I decided enough was enough and that a personal trainer might just fit my hectic lifestyle and provide me with the motivation I was struggling to generate myself.

What results have you achieved since starting your program?

I can do it with both legs in the air! Can I put that Stuart? What that means is in the beginning, I was struggling to do even leg raises with both legs at the same time, and now (metaphorically speaking of course) I could do it standing on my head. It’s such an achievement, Stuart even wrote it in my birthday card this year! On a more serious note, I have lost fat and inches and I am much more comfortable with my shape. There is still some way to go, but I’m much fitter, toned, and tend to choose healthier food options – not least because I know I’ll be challenged on it if I don’t! The workouts are much more intense and focussed now than when I first started and I understand my body and what I am capable of achieving a great deal more.

What do you like best about your program / having a trainer?

There is so much I love about having a Stuart, but most of all, it takes the difficulty out of motivating myself because I book a session and don’t allow myself to cancel it. It means that regardless of whether or not I feel like it, I’m going to be working out when Stuart turns up at my house. There are many other things too – I can fit it around my work with minimal disruption; I really enjoy the variety of workouts that we do and I love the fact that I have a say as to what we focus on and what equipment we use. It is also great having someone to account to after decadent holidays! It makes me think twice about the extra cocktail I don’t really need.

What would you say to someone on the fence about joining an Ideal Fitness personal training program?

I would say “what have you got to lose?” I wouldn’t be where I am and with the body confidence I have now without personal training. I’d probably be heavier, unfit and wondering why I hadn’t made the change sooner. For some people, personal training can be about focussed training for an event, or improving on an already good fitness base. For me however, the great thing about personal training is that regardless of whether you have one session a week or three, it signals a change in attitude and approach to fitness and puts you on the right track if you’re having difficulty doing that yourself like I was. Thanks Stuart!
